Washed Sea Treasures - a treasury

My photo print of some blue ocean waves was recently featured in Giota Kai's sea themed treasury!

Enjoy!

Sunny skies

I've been a little too busy lately with sorting out resumes and business clothes shopping to keep focused on Etsy and as committed to the daily routine I had going a few weeks ago.

I met with L on Monday and we went to this Japanese steakhouse and sushi buffet in Toronto called EDO, where my neighbor is the head sushi chef and we were lucky enough to get a free dinner!

I'll hopefully have some new Etsy listings soon!
I've been using my camera a lot lately :)

Front Page of Etsy France!

Yesterday afternoon I received word that my snowy photo print made it's way onto the front page of Etsy France from the lovely Christelle.
It was her beautifully crafted treasury that made it all possible.

Her treasury is a Valentines day theme called
Valentine in Black&White (click through to view)

Yesterday was my day off and I spent part of it on the phone with an old friend who lives in the UK. I miss her so much. The other part was spent planning a get-a-way trip for me and L, and so far it's looking good!

Seems like were going to spend reading week at Mont-Tremblant thanks to a beautiful package found on Jaunt.ca!

Something Old Something New

Today I pulled out my parents old Kodak slide projector, drank tea, and sat in the dark basement alone with my pup. Clicking through the photographs gave me a sence of awe. Looking at my parents in their younger years, and all the vacations they took made me really feel inspired to create something new.

I fell in love with this pic of the sea my dad took. I decided to set up my Nikon D60 and tripod and take a picture, of his picture.

My dad seemed to lug his camera around everwhere.
It was an old Canon AT-1 with a huge Vivitar flash sitting on top of it.
This is a picture he took of a shore in Scotland in the late 70's
(I later edited it in Photoshop and had some fun)

The print is now available on Etsy for sale.

Hope everyone else had a nice relaxing day too!

Fairytale Girl

I created a new treasury called Fairytale Girl with pieces I've favorited recently, as well as some new finds.

You can view it here.

One of my favorite pieces from it would have to be this sparkly leather clutch made by Gift Shop Brooklyn. This piece inspired the entire collection and I would love to own it! It's so fantasticly perfect! I'm obsessed with its colors, and it's a pretty fair size for a clutch makeup bag. The leather strap is eloquently studded with a golden button, polishing off the look. It's been in my fav's for a while now and whomever ends up purchasing it will be happy I'm sure.

In other news, I'm stuck on the couch tonight with L and my pup, shadow. He's playing skyrim and I'm drinking tea.

Hope everyone is having a good night!

Etsy Listing Time :)

I just watched a really good documentary on dog breeding and the American Kennel Club put out by BBC. I didn't get a chance to catch the name of it, but it was super informative and really caught my interest on the spot. I always love a good documentary.

In other news...
I have a new photo for sale on Etsy!
I really love the background bokeh in this one.

Rainy day...

I have the day to myself and even though I'm feeling completely exhausted from working I find it relaxing to post new photo prints on Etsy. This print here is my newest one for sale. I remember this day so vividly. I was with my friend C and were hiking on the Bruce trail. We saw horses, dogs, turkeys, and countless little critters. It was so beautiful. This is her dog, Roxy. A beautiful dapple colored dachshund. Roxy is the sweetest thing and would dig into the dirt and go on little adventures. My dog went too!
Oh Shadow you look like monster the muppet!

New Etsy Listing

Today I decided to post another print for sale.
I guess It has a Thanksgiving vibe to it hehe.
Working on Etsy has been pretty fun so far. It doesn't feel like work. I just need to focus on getting my shop seen.
I had the day off today and have been lazing about the boyfriends room while he's doing his homework. Ive been sitting here drinking copious amounts of coffee browsing the Etsy forums.

Yesterday I had the day off too and it was AMAZING! I met with T, watched a documentary with my dad, walked shadow in the sun, and worked out. It was pretty good for a day off I can't complain. I did do a dog walking job in the evening, which isnt "real" work so meh, still a day off :)

New Etsy Listing!

I've recently listed this print for sale on my etsy shop. It's available in two different colors so please feel free to browse through!

By my house there is a nature conservatory I like to frequent for long coffee walks all throughout the summer and right into the end of autumn. this picture of the leaves was taken there and it’s been one of my favorite shots ever since. Simple and surreal.
